In 1990 Ken Woodward was working in the UK as a production operative when he was involved in a devastating chemical explosion. It resulted not only in the loss of his sight, but also his sense of taste and smell. It was an accident that could easily have been avoided, and if not for the unselfish act of a safety aware colleague, he would have lost his life.
From this near-death experience, Ken has moved on through rehabilitation, back to work as a safety adviser and now to his current role as one of the UK’s leading safety advocates. The safety training video based on his experience Hindsight, is used extensively around the world.
In 2004 Ken gave powerful presentations throughout Australia at Coca Cola Amatil, Dulux, Masterfoods Australia, Incitec, State Rail NSW and State Transit NSW. In 2005 Ken presented at Orrcon, Namoi Cotton and the Vector (NZ infrastructure company) safety days in Auckland and Wellington. Ken was also a keynote speaker at The Safety Conference at Homebush in Sydney.
FutureMedia distributes all of Ken’s video titles. Click below for more information on these safety training videos based on Ken’s experiences.
